I bring many years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in both group home and HCBS settings. Over the years, I have also served as an instructor for various trainings within the human services field.

With over 25 years of experience, I have dedicated my career to supporting vulnerable populations, including individuals with developmental disabilities. I specialize in designing and implementing effective behavior treatment plans, creating opportunities for growth, empowerment, and meaningful change. My unwavering commitment to advocacy and compassionate care has been the cornerstone of my work, ensuring that everyone receives tailored support to thrive. I have extensive experience of facilitating impactful training at both local and national levels. My passion for advocacy, education, and compassionate care drives me to foster growth, empowerment, and lasting change in life.

As a Compliance Manager in a human services organization, I bring over a decade of diverse experience in occupational and environmental safety, health, and compliance across industrial, construction, and commercial sectors. My background in HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) has been honed through both local and international roles, where I’ve been instrumental in establishing safe work practices, conducting comprehensive audits, and aligning operational systems with ISO and OSHA standards. My core goal has always been to promote safe, healthy environments that enable people and organizations to thrive—an ethos that aligns seamlessly with the mission of human services.

Throughout my career, I’ve led initiatives that go beyond regulatory compliance to emphasize holistic well-being, including risk assessments, incident investigations, and impactful training programs tailored to both frontline workers and leadership teams. From overseeing indoor air quality assessments to managing large-scale safety systems in complex environments, I’ve developed a people-focused approach to compliance—recognizing that health and safety protocols are not just policies, but pathways to dignity, equity, and care within the workplace and the wider community.

With a Master of Science in Occupational and Environmental Safety and Health and a foundation in biological sciences, I approach compliance through a lens of scientific integrity, public health, and social responsibility. My current role allows me to integrate this expertise into systems that support vulnerable populations and essential services. I’m passionate about using my skills to strengthen the infrastructure of care, ensuring that human service organizations not only meet standards but create spaces where individuals—staff and clients alike—are protected, respected, and empowered.

I am a compassionate and driven Residential Manager with three years of experience in the human services field, specializing in supporting children and teens with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I’ve spent the past two years managing DDD group homes and the last year as a Residential Manager, building a strong foundation in Article 9, Prevention and Support, Positive Behavior Support, and evidence-based strategies for teaching and skill building. My approach is rooted in person-centered care and a deep commitment to empowering others.

In addition to my leadership roles, I’ve spent over six years working as a dedicated aide, providing one-on-one support to children in foster care. This hands-on experience has shaped my compassionate nature and strengthened my ability to connect with youth from all walks of life. My skill set includes DDD training, effective leadership, and facilitating interactive classes that promote both personal and professional growth among care teams. I thrive in environments where empathy, structure, and advocacy are essential.

Outside of my work in human services, I’m passionate about songwriting and poetry. Creative expression is my outlet—one that allows me to reflect on my experiences and inspire others. This artistic passion enriches my ability to connect deeply with the individuals I support and brings a unique dimension to my leadership style—one that blends heart, creativity, and purpose.
